Program: Tony Square Squares Boys Basketball Edu. Fdn.
Tony founded Richmond’s first AAU boys’
basketball program in 1987. Since then,
more than 300 young men have received
college scholarships, and some have gone on
to the NBA. The program develops
teamwork, self-confidence, and self-esteem
through structured athletic activities for
participants with ages from 12 to 19. The
youth are encouraged to stay in school by
stressing the link between class work and
homework, studying, and career and
educational achievement.

Program: Carole Heiser, VA Dept of Game and Fisheries
Carol is the Education Manager at the
Virginia Department of Game and Inland
Fisheries, where she has worked for 17
years. She is the Habitat Education
Coordinator with a volunteer program of
about 200 facilitators. Carol serves on the
Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping
Council, advising landscaping professionals
in the mid-Atlantic region. She has a B.S. in
Forestry and Wildlife from Virginia Tech
and a Certificate of Landscape Design from
George Washington University.

The 11th Annual Kiwanis Foundation Cup Golf Tournament to benefit Camp Little Hawk is scheduled for Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at Independence Golf Course.

The start will be earlier than in previous years: 12:30pm.
